Along with this increase, it is IETO’s role in enhancing the public service and especially increasing in providing the care or protection to the Indonesian citizens inTaiwan.
Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei, which was established by Presidential Decree No. 48 of 1994, has a role which is not quite different from the Representative Office of Indonesia in other countries because not only has IETO taken care of economic and trade issues, but also more than that, within the framework has cooperation withTaiwan broadly.

He also gave an appreciation of the changes that has occurred in IETO. Changes in the performance of which can be seen from one of the parameters is by the increasing acceptance of non-tax revenues in IETO.
From the existing data, if non-tax receipts in 2010 amounting to Rp. 26 billion, then in 2011 (until July 22nd, 2011) non-tax revenue has reached Rp. 17.6 billion which is predicted to non-tax revenue for the year 2011 will be able to penetrate Rp. 30 billion.
Before ending his speech, he delivered four things that must be kept in mind by officials in IETO, namely:
1. Believe Them, meaning superiors and subordinates must trusts each other.
2. Encourage Them, giving encouragement to the staff.

That is the type of leadership that is expected which if shortened is known as BEST.
